About this course

This one-year Level 6 top-up course builds on prior business study to develop a broader understanding of modern business theory and practice. It focuses on how organisations set strategy, lead people, respond to management trends and address sustainability.

You will explore leadership and management, organisational strategy, managing sustainability and new trends in management. A Business and Management Project provides an opportunity to apply your learning to a substantial piece of work.

The course also develops practical communication and project skills, including pitching, presenting, reporting, managing groups and leading projects. Critical thinking and reflective practice are used to help you evaluate management decisions and your own approach to professional work.
