About this course
This online BA (Hons) Business Management and Law combines core business management with the legal knowledge needed to understand how organisations operate, make decisions and manage risk. It is designed for people who want to develop knowledge across areas including marketing, sales, operations, people management, project management and international business, alongside key legal subjects.
You will study the English legal system, contract law, dispute resolution, employment law and international commercial law. Business-focused learning covers the contemporary business environment, consumer insight, supply chains, entrepreneurship and innovation, and business start-up planning.
The course is studied flexibly online and takes three years or more on a part-time basis. Its mix of business and law may suit adults returning to education who are interested in management, compliance, employee relations, commercial legal work or running a business.

Assessment
Assessment uses practical and applied tasks, including a company appraisal, consultancy project, research poster, reflection activity, multiple-choice questions, problem-solving exercises, a digital skills portfolio, sales proposal, podcast, digital pitch, case study and business case presentation.
Entry requirements
Applicants need two GCE A-Levels, or an equivalent qualification, plus GCSE passes at grade C or above in three subjects, or equivalent qualifications.
Applications may also be considered from applicants with at least 24 months of appropriate work experience, evidenced by a CV and reference.
English language requirements
IELTS 6.0 or equivalent, with no element below 5.5.
TOEFL iBT 80 or equivalent.
Evidence of previous study in English may also be accepted, such as a letter confirming that English was the medium of instruction.
