BA (Hons) Business Management (Marketing) Top-Up
This flexible online BA (Hons) top-up course can be studied part-time in one year or more. It is intended for students with relevant Level 5 business learning who want to specialise in marketing. The course covers global marketing, digital strategy, business transformation, entrepreneurship, governance, law and ethics, alongside independent research.
About this course
This online top-up degree is for students who have already completed relevant Level 5 business study and want to build towards a BA (Hons) qualification with a marketing focus. It considers how marketing operates across traditional and digital channels, and how marketing decisions connect with wider business activity.
You will examine global marketing, marketing and digital strategy, business transformation, entrepreneurship and innovation. The course also addresses corporate governance, law and ethics, helping you consider professional and ethical responsibilities when making business decisions.
An independent study develops research, data analysis and self-directed project skills. You will also use a business simulation to explore connected business functions, including marketing, sales, finance, people management, product development, operations and supply chain management.

Assessment

Entry requirements
Applicants need an HND in Business or an equivalent qualification. Previous learning must be consistent with Level 5 functional business areas, such as finance, marketing, operations management and human resource management.
English language requirements
English language evidence can include IELTS 6.0 overall, with no element below 5.5; TOEFL iBT 80; an equivalent English-language qualification; or evidence of previous study taught in English, such as a letter confirming English was the medium of instruction.
