A two-year full-time BA (Hons) Business Studies top-up course for students joining at Level 5 with relevant Level 4 credits. About this course
This two-year BA (Hons) Business Studies top-up course is designed for students entering at Level 5 with previous higher education study in business or a related area. It develops understanding of how organisations operate, how management decisions are made and how businesses respond to international, digital and sustainability challenges.
You will study areas including accounting, human resource management, digital business, entrepreneurship and international business. The course also develops research skills, preparing you to investigate a business issue through a dissertation or business project.
In the later stages of study, you will consider contemporary management issues, sustainable organisations and global strategic management. Case study analysis is used to apply business concepts to organisational situations.

Entry requirements
For Level 5 top-up entry, you need 120 appropriate credits at Level 4, such as a CertHE in Business Studies.
External applicants must meet Canterbury Christ Church University’s standard entry requirements.
Non-standard entry may be considered where applicants can demonstrate substantial relevant work experience, the ability to pass examinations, an independent employment reference and appropriate English language ability.
English language requirements
For entry at Level 4 or above, English language ability must be demonstrated at CEFR Level B2 through an independent external examination.
