About this course
This online part-time degree develops a broad understanding of digital marketing alongside practical skills for planning, producing and evaluating digital activity. You will consider how audiences use digital channels, how brands communicate online and how content, platforms and advertising can be used to reach customers.
The course covers social media management, search engine optimisation, copywriting, content production, digital advertising, data analytics and user experience design. Later study includes digital marketing strategy, global brand management, digital PR and strategic customer experience design.
You will also complete a digital internship module and create work for a digital marketing showcase. The assessment approach supports the development of a portfolio of practical outputs, alongside research, analysis and communication skills.

Assessment
Assessment is based on practical and written work, including reports, presentations, case studies, projects, websites, reflective blogs, vodcasts, creative portfolios, pitches and customer-experience/user-experience journeys.
Entry requirements
Applicants normally need two GCE A-Level subjects or an equivalent qualification, plus three GCSE passes at grade C or above, or equivalent.
Applicants with at least two years of relevant work experience may also be considered. This route requires a personal statement, references and evidence of previous work experience.
English language requirements
Applicants normally need IELTS 6.0 overall, with no element below 5.5, or TOEFL iBT 80. Equivalent English-language qualifications may be accepted. Evidence of previous study in English, such as a letter confirming English as the medium of instruction, may also be considered.
