About this course
This one-year LLB (Hons) top-up course is designed for students who have already completed relevant Level 5 study in law and want to complete an honours degree.
You will build on existing legal knowledge through advanced study of areas including international commercial law, mental health and mental capacity law, equity and trusts, EU law, land law and intellectual property law. The course also considers legal technology, legal history, and the relationship between law and society.
Alongside subject knowledge, you will develop legal research, critical thinking, academic writing and problem-solving skills. You will examine legal theory and apply it to practical legal questions, helping you evaluate arguments, interpret legal principles and communicate your reasoning clearly.
