LLM Environmental Law

About this course
The LLM Environmental Law examines the legal frameworks used to protect the environment and respond to environmental challenges. It considers the principles, sources and mechanisms of environmental law, alongside issues including climate change, habitat loss, nature conservation, water quality and biodiversity.
You will also develop legal research skills relevant to environmental law, consider the English legal system and explore the role of legal technology. The course includes research methods training and a dissertation, allowing you to investigate an Environmental Law topic in depth.
Study is available full-time, part-time or online, which may suit those balancing postgraduate study with work or other commitments.

Assessment
Assessment includes a three-hour unseen written examination, a coursework assignment and submission of a thesis.
