About this course

This MBA is designed for professionals who want to strengthen their management knowledge and apply it to organisational challenges. It examines how businesses operate, compete, adapt and grow, combining strategic decision-making with practical areas such as finance, supply chains, people management and marketing.

You will consider strategic business transformation, competitive strategy and innovation, alongside the use of technology and business analytics in planning and decision-making. The course also develops professional practice through applied activities, including client-focused case studies, simulations and a substantial business project.

Blended study is available over one year. An online study option is also available and takes one year or longer.

Assessment

Assessment uses applied and reflective methods, including live client case studies, business simulations, group work, presentations, a transformation plan, negotiated assessment, a personal audit, critical reflection and a portfolio. You may also produce podcasts or vodcasts, a marketing plan and social media campaign, and a business project or consultancy report.

Entry requirements

Applicants normally need a bachelor’s degree at 2:2 or above, or an international equivalent.

If your degree was completed more than five years ago, you must provide a CV with your application.

Applicants with professional qualifications and at least two years of relevant work experience are encouraged to apply.

English language requirements

For online learning, applicants need IELTS 6.5 overall, with no element below 6.0, or TOEFL iBT 90, or an equivalent qualification.

For blended learning, applicants need IELTS 6.0 overall, with no element below 5.5, or TOEFL iBT 60–78, or an equivalent qualification.

Evidence of previous study completed in English may be accepted, including a letter confirming English as the medium of instruction.

Applicants who require a UK visa need IELTS 6.0 overall, with no element below 5.5, or an equivalent Secure English Language Test result.
