About this course
This MBA combines core business management study with a healthcare management focus. It is designed for people who want to develop strategic leadership, operational and decision-making skills while examining how health and social care services are funded, organised and delivered.
You will consider healthcare funding mechanisms, resource allocation, integrated care systems, patient safeguarding regulations and ethical frameworks. The course also explores the growing role of technology in healthcare, including artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, health data architecture, system interoperability, remote monitoring and virtual services.
Alongside healthcare-focused study, you will build knowledge of strategic accounting, marketing, human capital management, legal frameworks, technology-driven operations and business strategy. The course includes a choice of applied final-stage work such as a dissertation, business plan, business project or consultancy project. Full-time study is available over one year, or over two years with Professional Practice.

Assessment

Entry requirements
A UK bachelor's degree with a 2:2 classification or above, or an equivalent qualification.
English language requirements
English language ability equivalent to IELTS 6.0 overall, with at least 5.5 in each component.
