About this course

This MSc examines how financial decisions are made, reported and governed within organisations. It brings together financial management, accounting, risk and corporate responsibility, helping you consider the financial and wider business implications of management decisions.

You will explore financial accounting and reporting alongside management accounting, performance management and financial risk management. The course also considers banking regulation, corporate governance, directors’ responsibilities and corporate social responsibility.

Later study develops decision-making and leadership skills through data-focused work, a business simulation and contemporary business issues. You will also examine mergers, acquisitions and integration, before completing dissertation or project work.
