MSc International Project Management
This MSc International Project Management develops knowledge of planning, leading and delivering projects across international and multicultural settings. You will study research methods, cross-cultural leadership, human capital management, project logistics, delivery management and project execution. Full-time study takes one year, with a two-year part-time option available.
About this course
This MSc explores how complex projects are planned, led and delivered across international settings. It considers project work in public, private and not-for-profit organisations, with attention to the organisational environments in which projects operate.
You will examine the impact of globalisation, cultural differences, stakeholder expectations and ethical responsibilities on project decisions. The course also addresses leadership across cultures, human capital management, logistics and the practical demands of project execution and delivery.

Assessment
Assessment may include written coursework, oral presentations, examinations, online quizzes, in-class tests, practical projects and reflective work. You will also complete a final major project or dissertation.
Entry requirements
Applicants typically need a UK honours degree with a 2:2 classification or above, together with relevant experience.
Relevant qualifications from an applicant's home country may also be accepted where they meet the applicable country-specific entry requirements.
Applicants with a bachelor's degree, or an equivalent non-UK qualification, who do not meet the usual grade requirement may be considered where they can demonstrate suitable life or work skills.
English language requirements
Applicants need evidence of previous study taught in English and sufficient English language ability for postgraduate study, or an IELTS score of 6.5 or above (or equivalent).
Careers
The course may support progression into project management and middle or senior management roles, particularly where organisations operate across international, multicultural or changing environments.
